MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Fresh off a 2024 campaign that saw the Blue Raiders advance to the Conference USA Championship semifinals, the Middle Tennessee soccer program has released its 2025 fall schedule, highlighted by ten home matches and two first-time matchups, as announced by head coach Aston Rhoden Thursday afternoon.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Fresh off a 2024 campaign that saw the Blue Raiders advance to the Conference USA Championship semifinals, the Middle Tennessee soccer program has released its 2025 fall schedule, highlighted by ten home matches and two first-time matchups, as announced by head coach Aston Rhoden Thursday afternoon.
The preseason will begin with the annual Blue vs. White scrimmage on August 2 at home, with kickoff at 3 p.m., before the team travels to play a neutral site exhibition against Southern Mississippi August 9.
The Blue Raiders will kick off the regular season on the road, traveling just an hour up the road to take on Belmont August 14 in Nashville. MTSU returns home for the 2025 home opener August 17, when Jackson State comes to town for a 1 p.m. kickoff from Dean A. Hayes Soccer Stadium. The Blue Raiders will continue the home series against Alabama A&M August 21 before going head-to-head with Indiana State for the first time in program history to close out the opening homestand August 24 at 1 p.m.
Hitting the road for one additional time in August, MT is set to travel to Mobile, Ala. to go compete against the South Alabama Jaguars on the 28th, returning to Murfreesboro to close out the month against West Georgia for the first time on the 31st.
The month of September sees the Blue Raiders travel to Nashville for a contest against in-state rival Lipscomb Sept. 4. MTSU will welcome Vanderbilt for the first match between the two at Dean A. Hayes Soccer Stadium since 2022 on Sept. 7 before hosting Tennessee Tech for the penultimate non-conference match Sept. 11. Closing out the non-league schedule, the team will travel to Evansville, Ind. on Sept. 14 to take on Evansville, last playing the program in 2021.
Just like the season prior, Middle Tennessee will open its conference slate of matches at home, this time, seeing the Jacksonville State Gamecocks travel to Murfreesboro Sept. 21. For the first Conference USA road stand of the season, the Blue Raiders will wrap up the month of September in Bowling Green, Ky. at Western Kentucky Sept. 27, heading west just after to face Sam Houston in Huntsville, Texas and Louisiana Tech in Ruston, La. on October 2 and 5, respectively.
MTSU will host a three-game homestand to close out its contests in Murfreesboro, welcoming FIU for an Oct. 12 matchup. The last home week of the season sees New Mexico State and UTEP travel to Dean A. Hayes Oct. 16 and 19. The Blue Raiders are set to complete the regular season in Kennesaw, Ga., taking on Kennesaw State for the final CUSA match of the slate Oct. 25.
The Conference USA Soccer Championship is set to run from November 2 through 7, hosted by Liberty in Lynchburg, Va.
