MISSING WOMAN AND CAR RECOVERED IN NORMANDY

Sara Padgett was a friend to many and a community leader, having translated for many years at the County level. The community mourned her passing yesterday, when Shelbyville Police Department officially announced that the body recovered from Normandy Lake was positively identified as Padgett.

Padgett had been reported  missing since early April this year. Her car was also retrieved from Normandy Lake. Police do not suspect any foul play.
