Funeral services for Raven Amber Smith, 20, of Bell Buckle, will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2023, in the Chapel of Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Baucom officiating. Burial will follow at Jones-Haynes Cemetery. Raven passed from this life Monday, December 26, 2022, at Vanderbilt-Bedford Hospital.
Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Thursday, January 5, at the funeral home.
Raven was born January18, 2002, in Jackson, Tennessee to Winford Allan “Frog” Smith and Julie Anne McGee Chavarria. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter Lee Smith, Jr. and James and Linda McGee; and step-grandfather, Johnny Carr.
Raven was a proud, beautiful young mother that adored her daughter. She was a loving sister, wonderful daughter, fun and big-hearted person that will be missed greatly by all her loved ones.
Along with her parents she is survived by: daughter, Ivy Rana Berry Smith; brothers, John Duke of Jackson, Logan Smith of Shelbyville, Cesar and Sevastian Tejeda, both of Shelbyville; sisters, Lillian (Steven) Roe of Florida, Maegan (Brennen Gajdatsy) Smith of Shelbyville, Paris Cintron of LaVergne, Charity Cintron of McMinnville, Jasmine Tejeda of Shelbyville, Ginger Tejeda of Shelbyville, Daisey Chavarria and Alene Chavarria, both of Shelbyville; nephew, Mason Gajdatsy; her other mom, Alicia Gail Carr; step-father, Efrain Chavarria; and step-grandmother, Jennifer Carr.
