Bedford County Highway Department will shut down Nashville Dirt Road, between Shaw Road and Burns Road, on Tuesday, Aug. 1, from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. for culvert repair. All traffic will need to use alternate routes during that time.The highway department will re-base Puncheon Camp Road this week in preparation for chip sealing some time in September.
