Robert Glen Lovvorn, 71, of Shelbyville died May 31, 2023. Funeral Services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, June 4, at Hillcrest Funeral Home Rev. Carroll Crosslin officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m.

He was a native of Bedford County; a retired employee of Village Roofing of Columbia, Tenn., and a member of the Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Gordon Lovvorn and Margarette Nowlin Short and a sister, Rose Short.

Robert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Edith Faye Lovvorn; his children, Robert Glen Lovvorn Jr., Christy Lovvorn Grisham; brothers, Richard (Judy) Lovvorn, Ray (Sheila) Lovvorn, Clifford (Susie) Short; sister, Melinda (James) Robinson; five grandchildren, Melanie, Lexus, Odom, Dana, Justin and five great-grandchildren.
