Saturday’s early morning storms left the day drizzling and cloudy, but dozens of families still turned out for the Santa Fly-In at the Shelbyville Municipal Airport. Santa had his annual meet-and-greet with kids inside the terminal.
Next city holiday event
Shelbyville Parks and Recreation will host a “Story Time With Santa” at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Rec Center. Cookies, milk and juice will be served. The story will be read by Santa. Cost is $1 per child. Preregistration is required by calling 684-9780
