Mrs. Sharon Ann Gordon Harris, age 78, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023, at the home of her daughter, under the loving care and comfort of her family and Hospice Compassus.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Treydin Hillis and Tracy Hillis will officiate, with burial to follow in the New Beech Grove Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, at the funeral home.
She was born December 26, 1944 in Beech Grove to the late Clifford McCrory Gordon and Clera Jane Burks Gordon. She was retired from Aramark Corporation as a quality control inspector. She was the union leader for local Teamsters 327. She enjoyed to watch football, Gunsmoke, and go fishing. She loved everyone she ever met and took great pride and joy in spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Harris, in 2020; brothers, Clifford Earl Gordon, W.T. Gordon, and Barney Gordon; a sister, Freida Haddix.
Survivors include daughters Christy Warren, and her husband Steve, Vicky Baucom, and Patricia Butler; a brother, Robert Gail Gordon, of Murfreesboro; a sister, Evelyn Hillis, of Beech Grove; grandchildren, Kip Warren, Ronnie Joe Sudberry, Crystal Sudberry, Benny Warren, and Linsey Baucom; great-grandchildren, Keirra Bowen, Kingston Sudberry, Caine Warren, Douglas Bowen III “ Bubba”, Andon Warren, Madison Sudberry, Aaliyah “Lilly” Brown, Maddy Nowlin, Nolan Sudberry, Keegan Baucom, Myles Warren, and Elliana McMahon; great-great- grandchildren, Kylann Bowen and Kainan Bowen.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
