Sheila Ann Marshall (Smith), age 71, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
Sheila was born on November 24, 1954, in Warren, Michigan, where she lived and worked for many years. Later, she moved to her family’s hometown of Shelbyville, TN., where she happily resided for the past several years.
Sheila enjoyed spending time with her extensive family and her dog Peanut, as well as crafting and perusing the local stores with her cousin, Connie. She occasionally would lend a hand at The Blockade Runner store.
Sheila was preceded in death by her partner, Red Silcox; son Michael Marshall; brother Gary Smith; brother Darrell (Rebecca) Smith; mother Betty, and father Eugene Smith (Carol).
She is survived by her daughter, Carrie Rippey (John) and son, Duane (Christina) Marshall, as well as grandchildren Jessica, Tiffany, Isabella and Trevor.
Her siblings Phil (Mae), Kevin (Lorrie), Cheryl, Mary and Heather (Steve) will hold fondly onto the beautiful memories of their eldest sister. Sheila was a proud Aunt to many nieces and nephews (and grandnieces & nephews) including Jonathon, Josh, Dawn, Tina, Matthew, Maria, Nick and Amanda.
Sheila will be remembered for her beautiful smile and love for her family.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
