Thomas Wilson Curtis, 75, of Shelbyville died Saturday, January 23, 2021.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, January 28th, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Rev. Ray Armstrong officiating. Family asks that masks be worn and social distancing practiced by everyone. There will be no public visitation prior to service. Hillcrest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Thomas Wilson Curtis was a very special man who departed this life on January 23, 2021 at the age of 75.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28th, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Rev. Ray Armstrong officiating. Family asks that masks be worn and social distancing practiced by everyone. There will be no public visitation prior to service. Hillcrest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Tommy loved Jesus, his church family and all who he came in contact with. He was a faithful member of the Fellowship For Christ Church.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the U.S. Army Special Forces. He worked for and also retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Shelbyville has lost a model citizen who made our city a better place to live in. Our tremendous loss is heaven's gain.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Wilson "Bill" Curtis and Ruth Posey Curtis; his wife, Carolyn Nelson Curtis; a son, Ron Curtis; sisters, Beatrice Reed, Wilma Head and Elaine Curtis.
He is survived by grandchildren, Laquitta Curry and Tatiana Brown; great-grandchildren, Jaxon Curry and Drew Adcock. He will also be missed by his faithful companion, Judy Dale. She Memorials may be made to Fellowship For Christ Church, 142 Richdale Lane, Shelbyville, TN. 37160.
