Billy Witt Watson, 80, of Lynchburg, TN. died October 17, 2026.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 22nd, at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crowell's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. prior to service.
He was born March 24, 1946, in Huntland, TN., to his parents, the late Adnes Watson and Helen Irene Dodson Alford. He was a retired truck driver for the City of Tullahoma and a member of the Baptist Church.
Billy was an avid U.T. Vols Fan. He loved music, especially playing the drums; four wheeling, fishing, hunting, gardening and loved going to the mountains where he was born. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather who was happiest when he was enjoying being with
his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Elizabeth Neal Watson; a grandson, Cody Wayne Reed; sister, Nellie Sue Thompson; brothers, Richard Glenn Watson and Dennis Paul Watson.
Billy is survived by his children, Elizabeth "Bonnie" Crabtree (Jeff), Ellen Bailey and Billie Jo Pursley (James); sisters, Mattie Marie Prince, Sarah Irene Watson; brothers, Danny Lynn Watson, Roger Adnes Watson; six grandchildren, Tabitha Crosslin, Ashley Certain, Kirsten Stevens, Calah Stevens, Gage Throneberry, Jared Acklen and 15 great-grandchildren.
Hillcrest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
