Valerie Jean Brazelton, age 55, passed away Thursday, January 7th.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Scott; children, Shelettia Allen, Quintus Brazelton and Carnisha (Foy) King; grandchildren, Jazsmin Allen, Kayla Rhodes, Jamiya Allen, Quantavious Bell, Jalen Pham-Brazelton, Zayden Buford-Brazelton, Peyton Pendergrass, Dominique King, LeCurtis Garmon and Atayviah Dillard-Brazelton; great grandchildren, Bryah Rhodes and EJ Bell; brothers, Lonnie Bradford Kelley and Wyatt Erving Allen; step brother, Damon "Teddy" Marsh; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 17th at Nelson & Sons Memorial Chapel, 824 Lipscomb St., Shelbyville 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. There will be a private family burial Monday, January 18th at Clay Hill Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
