Woody Dean Powell of Jackson, Tennessee, died April 28, 2024. Graveside Services were held 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 3rd, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Shawn Bain officiating. Visitation was 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home prior to service.
She was born September 20, 1944 in Shelbyville, TN. She was raised in the Wheel Community and started her life in Christ at Bedford County Church of Christ. She later married the love of her life, Wendell "Rabbit" M. Powell and was a minister's wife for 48 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell M. Powell; her parents, Arthur M. and Bertha M. Atnip Adcock; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Christopher M. (Andrea D.) Powell, Timothy S. (Shanah K.) Powell and Beverly D. (R.Dale) Evans.
