FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. – After picking up their second win of the season at Moore County on Monday, the Shelbyville Central Golden Eaglettes (2-12, 0-4) committed seven errors in Tuesday’s District 6-AAAA loss at Lincoln County, 10-2.
Shelbyville Central took the lead in the top of the first inning against Lady Falcons starter Kya Edwards. Janiya Leslie led off with a single, Laila Lauderdale slapped a single, and then Ja’Mya Anderson barreled a 2-RBI double to score both runners. Unfortunately for the Eaglettes, these would be their only runs of the night.

For the visitors, Rileah Crutcher pitched all 6.0 innings in the circle, giving up 10 runs – five earned – on 12 hits and three walks with one strikeout on 102 pitches.
Lincoln County would get a run back in the home half of the first before tying the game at 2-2 in the second. The Lady Falcons scored another run in the third before plating three in the fifth and four in the sixth to attain their 10-2 advantage.
At the plate, Janiya Leslie went 1-for-3, Lauderdale went 1-for-3, and Anderson finished 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.
