SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – Shelbyville Central’s Kyrianna Ward signed with Bryan College to continue her volleyball career at the collegiate level on Friday afternoon outside of the Rick Insell Gymnasium.
“It’s an accomplishment, really,” Ward said, “I always wanted to play in college, but I didn’t know if I’d be able to achieve it. I have a great support system. I’m excited for a new journey, a new start, meeting new people, and being able to bond with my teammates.”
Ward helped lead the Eaglettes to their first win in more than two seasons under new first-year head coach Kendall Hampton. Despite eventually finishing with a 1-19 (1-11) record in 2025, Ward was a key cog in setting a new foundation for the program to grow on for years to come.
