SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – Cascade’s Sydney Neal signed with Bryan College on Friday morning to continue her volleyball career at the collegiate level.
Neal was surrounded by dozens of friends, family, coaches, and teammates. Her former head coach, Kendall Hampton, was also in attendance. When Hampton - who just completed her first season as head coach at Shelbyville Central - founded the Cascade Middle School volleyball program in 2019, Neal was a sixth-grader on the inaugural team.
Under Megan O’Rourke, Cascade finished 4-9 overall in 2025 with its season ending in the District 8-AA Tournament at the hands of Spring Hill, and Neal was a key part of the Lady Champions’ success.
